Control Room Technician

Your tasks
Their task consists of 70% shift work to monitor the PSI accelerator facilities in 3-shift operation (24/7) and 30% tasks in cooperation with different specialist groups. In this responsible and exciting job, you will support the commissioning and optimization of the accelerator systems, diagnose and treat operational faults and operate the remote-controlled personal safety systems as part of shift work.
Your profile:
  • Completed vocational training, ideally with further training as a technician HF
  • You find it easy to communicate in German and English and appreciate the exchange of different specialist groups in an international environment
  • They are motivated to acquire a great deal of knowledge at the complex accelerator facilities and to continue their education
  • They appreciate the advantages of working in different shifts and ideally have some experience in shift work.
