HVAC and Fluids Technician

As an HVAC and Fluids Technician, you will join a dynamic team and will be in charge of the following:

  • Carrying out the design and execution of HVAC and Fluids engineering (validation of technical solutions, follow up of drawings, checking the capacity of systems)
  • Writing technical specifications and preparing cost estimates of projects
  • Coordinating technical aspects of construction/renovation/refurbishment works for new buildings, laboratories, beamlines by liaising with other group members, included the acceptance of installations
  • Carrying out the follow-up of maintenance installation and dedicated contracts, you will also participate in recurrent or corrective action tasks


  • Technician degree in HVAC and Fluids Engineering, sustainable construction or equivalent (BSc, Licence, HND, HNC, BTS, DUT, Bachelor,  Meister, Vordiplom, Perito, Laurea Triennale, Diplomatura, Ingenieria Técnica, Staatlich Gepruefter Techniker Maschinenbau, or equivalent)
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative
  • Knowledge of AutoDesk software would be an asset
  • Knowledge of French is required; professional English is a plus (working language at the ESRF)
