Within the ILL/ESRF joint stores composed of a team of 4 storemen·storewomen, your main missions will be the following:

  • Coordinate, support and monitor the daily operation in logistics such as deliveries, shipments, storage spaces, handling and inventory of assets, in an international context.
  • Manage the stock and supply of items: review annual contracts, computer entries of stock, control, organize the annual inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations relating to logistics and stock management activities
  • Contribute to personnel coordination such as holidays planning, recruitment, annual interviews, etc…
  • Participate in projects to improve activities, and ensure the implementation of decisions taken.


  • You should hold a diploma in logistics and transport (BSc, Licence, HND, HNC, BTS, DUT, Bachelor, Meister, Vordiplom, Perito, Laurea Triennale, Diplomatura, Ingenieria Técnica or equivalent)
  • At least 10 years professional experience in a stores environment, and minimum 5 years of coordinating the relevant activities
  • Good knowledge in stock management, in import-export requirements and safety standards in logistics and stock management activities (IATA certification is a plus)
  • Good IT skills – standard MS office software (Excel) – Store management software
  • Good planning and organization skills, sense of responsibility, ability to communicate efficiently and to interact with people at all levels
  • Driving license B, Driving fork-lift trucks license (CACES 3 and 5)
  • Good level of English (working language at the ESRF)
