Postdoctoral Fellow Lithographic Fabrication of X-ray Optics

Your tasks

You and your team develop a novel type of diffractive X-ray optics and test and implement such devices at Synchrotron and XFEL sources. Your responsibilities include writing reports and scientific articles as well as taking the initiative in project coordination. In this LEAPS project, you connect and collaborate with people within PSI’s interdisciplinary, multinational research community as well as external partners.

Your profile

  • You are enthusiastic about joining the Laboratory for Micro and Nanotechnology LMN team and supporting our instrumentation research with your knowledge in physics or engineering
  • You enjoy sharing your experience in beam or nano-lithography, metrology, or synchrotron radiation gained in a previous role
  • You share our enthusiasm for programming and numerical simulations
  • You feel at ease explaining, sharing, and discussing complex concepts and project needs with people from different backgrounds
