The Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) is commissioning the fourth-generation electron storage ring Sirius, a worldwide state-of-the-art accelerator complex dedicated to produce high brightness X-ray beams. LNLS is a pioneer synchrotron light laboratory in Brazil and has a long history of designing, constructing, commissioning and operating a synchrotron light facility to provide multi-disciplinary experimental stations for external users.
Activities includes modeling, analysis and simulations for the Advanced Manufacturing Group at CNPEM.
Modeling, analysis and simulations applied to:
- Design and development of non-conventional techniques, processes, instruments or machines.
- Design of systems and mechanical assemblies, components, machines and tools.
- Design and development support for the advanced manufacturing area/group at CNPEM.
- Degree in Physical Engineering and related areas.
- Advanced English.
It is a differential to have experience with machining, mechanics or mechatronics.
It is a differential to have experience in machine design or scientific instrumentation.
