Upcoming Conferences:
We welcome you to the sixth international Public Awareness and Engagement with Research Infrastructures conference, PAERI’26. The event will be hosted by European XFEL in the Hamburg region, Germany. The theme of the conference is Navigating Science Communication in a Shifting Landscape. Registration and abstract submission will start in autumn 2025. The conference will take place 18-20 March 2026. The PAERI’26 venue is on the campus of European XFEL, which is the world’s largest X-ray laser. The 3.4 km long facility generates extremely intense X-ray flashes used by researchers from all over the world to map atomic details of viruses, film chemical reactions, and study processes like those in the interior of planets. We are thrilled to invite you to join us from May 17-22, 2026, at the Centre International Deauville (CID) for a fully in-person event. IPAC is the premier annual gathering for the global accelerator community, bringing together scientists, engineers, and industry professionals from around the world. This conference is a unique opportunity to explore the latest breakthroughs in accelerator research and development, as well as to receive updates on current and future accelerator facilities. The 2026 edition of IPAC is hosted by the GANIL-SPIRAL2 laboratory in collaboration with CEA, CNRS, Synchrotron SOLEIL, and ESRF. These organizations are renowned for their expertise in the design, construction and operation of a wide variety of particle accelerators and innovative accelerator technologies. 1 April 2025 9 October 2025 3 December 2025 17 March 2026 The International Workshop on Phase Retrieval and Coherent Scattering is the leading international meeting focused on sharing the latest advances in developing and using coherent scattering methods with X-rays, extreme-ultraviolet light, and electrons recently enabled by advances in source technology. This biannual conference series, started in 2008, attracts researchers from many fields (including physics, chemistry, biology, optics, earth, environmental, planetary sciences, and materials research) who are interested in developing coherence-based methods and their applications. The University of Wisconsin and Argonne National Laboratory will host the 2026 Coherence Workshop along the peaceful shores of Lake Mendota in downtown Madison, Wisconsin from June 21-25, 2026. With the Upgrade of the Advanced Photon Source (APS) now fully completed, the United States Midwest region will start a new chapter in its long history of science with coherent x-rays and electron sources. We invite the worldwide community to join us in Madison and at the APS for this meeting.
