For the first time, Lund University and the MAX IV Laboratory are launching a joint artist-in-residence programme. This residency programme invites Nordic artists from all disciplines to explore the interface between art and cutting-edge research.
What’s offered:
- 4-week residency (Jan–May 2026)
- 200,000 SEK in funding (artist fee, travel, accommodation, production)
- Access to Inter Arts Center (Malmö) and Skissernas Museum (Lund)
- At least 1 week on-site at MAX IV
Who can apply:
Professional artists based in the Nordic region. Projects should engage with research at MAX IV and foster dialogue between art and science.
